CYKZ Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport is a meticulously detailed custom modelled scenery of a well-known local GA airport in Toronto area, where many of GTA enthusiast learn to fly and enjoy flying for many years. It was hand-crafted for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 using latest 3D modelling tools and techniques and custom-made high-resolution PBR materials.

- Parked cars, airport vehicles, full perimeter fencing, vegetation and other random objects added at correct spots for more realism
- Helipad with static helicopter models
- Animated flags that respond to wind direction
- Functional Tower ATC (at the current Traffic radio frequency) for previously unavailable dynamic taxi instructions and runway selection
- Tall autogen office building close to the approach path replaced with a more suitable two-storey office building
INSTALLATION
Just unzip the /romandesign-airport-cykz/ folder from the zip file you downloaded into your MSFS Community folder. Note that ContentManifest.json file is in the zip file just to preserve the MSFS SDK file structure, but it doesn’t need to be copied anywhere.
IMPORTANT: if you have previously installed Roman Design Toronto pack, please update it with the latest version, if you haven’t done so already. You must remove the old version to avoid object duplication.

This is my airport of choice for MSFS2020. I came across this watching a YouTube video by another Simmer. I purchased and installed this package. WOW, incredible work done to make this airport so much more life like, and real. A must for any Torontonian who fly’s out of this location.
I’m a Torontonian who has CYKZ set as my default fly out airport for MSFS 2020. This upgrade is a must for anyone who fly’s this location, coupled with the scenery upgrades for Toronto, and you get a stunning 100% improvement of your sim experience. Keep these coming Roman.
Your scenery for Canadian Airports is great. I flew out of Buttonville in the old days that rendition is just perfect . Just remember there are other simmers out there and a few Canadians as well , help us out guys, we need your stuff .

Very nice scenery. Even though the control tower has been closed for a while now and the airport is operating on a MF basis, this upgrade is well worth it. I still prefer operating with a control tower at this airport. The upgraded parking and improved hangers, make this a great scenery package for Toronto. 🙂
